In-house Activities

Slow down, lean in, and experience Nepal beyond the postcards. Our in-house activities (led by women, indigenous artisans and queers exclusively) are designed for curious travellers who enjoy culture, craft, and conversation, all in an intimate, respectful setting with maximum cultural impact.

All in-house experiences are available by advance booking only. To ensure smooth coordination with our instructors and artisans, we kindly request guests to book these activities after confirming their room reservation and prior to arrival.

Bookings can be made by email or directly through our front desk team. This allows us to curate each experience with care and avoid last-minute disruptions.

Yoga Classes and Aura/Chakra Cleansing

Begin or end your day with guided yoga sessions in a calm, light-filled space. Designed for all levels, these classes focus on breath, gentle movement, and grounding, ideal after long journeys, city walks, or Himalayan treks. Taught by an indigenous woman instructor, the yoga class can also be customized to cleanse your aura and chakras. These classes are available every day. They need to booked via the reception.

Gurkha Knife Making Workshop

A half-day immersion into traditional metalwork. Guided by skilled craftspeople, you’ll explore the history of Nepali blades and try your hand at shaping metal using age-old techniques. A tactile, memorable experience rooted in craftsmanship and heritage.

Sound Healing Sessions

Using traditional instruments and vibrational sound techniques, our sound healing sessions help restore balance and deep relaxation. A quiet, immersive experience that many guests describe as unexpectedly powerful.

Pottery

Pottery Classes

Work with clay through hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques, guided by a master artisan. Inspired by Nepali folklore and everyday forms, these sessions are both grounding and expressive, allowing you to create something truly personal.

Momo Making Class with Queer History

Learn to make Nepal’s beloved momos with a joyful twist. Using natural ingredients like beetroot, spinach, carrot, and butterfly pea, you’ll craft momos in vivid colours inspired by the pride flag.

Led by a queer guide, the session weaves together cooking, personal stories, and conversations about LGBTQ+ life in Nepal, past and present. Warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully hosted, this class blends flavour with perspective.

Thangka Painting Experience

Step into the artistic heart of Patan, in Lalitpur, long known as Nepal’s city of arts.
Guided by a Thangka master with over 30 years of experience, this four-hour workshop introduces you to the philosophy, symbolism, and precision of Tibetan Buddhist painting. Choose from classical motifs such as the serene Sakyamuni Buddha or White Tara, and experience the meditative rhythm behind this sacred art form.
